Human Vibration Analyzer Type 4447

Human response to vibration differs according to the frequency range of the vibration, amount of exposure and the point of contact. For power tool operators and drivers of vehicles prolonged exposure to vibration can be harmful. An increase in the number of hand-arm and whole-body injuries caused by vibration is the consequence of the use of vibrating hand tools as e.g. grinders, drills, rammers and sanders and vehicles as e.g. different kind of tractors, loaders and excavators.

To protect workers, legislation such as EU Directive 2002/44/EC, sets forth minimum health and safety requirements for those exposed to risk arising from work-related vibration.

Human Vibration Analyzer Type 4447, a portable system for measurement and evaluation of human vibration, is designed to meet the requirements of those who wish to monitor and reduce the exposure of human operators to the influences of such vibration. It is delivered together with a software package for calculation of vibration exposure to check the action values and limit values as stated in the EU Directive 2002/44/EC
