Meet Our EmployeesA wide range of people with different skills, backgroud and education work at Brüel & Kjær. Please take a moment to meet some of your future colleagues and find out what they do. - Bin Liu Zhang, Transducer Development Engineer
Brüel & Kjær transducers are synonymous with the best transducers in the world. As a member of the transducer team, my work is to develop transducers, assist production in producing them, and provide technical support.
Working with intelligent and helpful colleagues to deliver the best quality transducer ensures that my daily life is full of challenges, problems, responsibilities and fun. And most importantly, what I do really makes me feel proud. - Jørgen Otto Jensen, Service Sales Support
The Service Support and Service Coordinator teams at Service Centre Nærum, are the link between our customers - the global sales offices - and the different teams within production and the Service Centre Nærum who are responsible for repair and calibration.
Working in the Service Centre is both exciting and challenging as we are in constant touch with our customers all over the world, establishing a strong network. This certainly strengthens our ability to work independently and provides a sense of responsibility. The job also involves a great deal of travelling in connection with training and service tasks. - Kristian Wigh Jespersen, Administration/Office Trainee
As Administration/Office Trainee we get to experience four different departments during our two-year period at Brüel & Kjær. This gives a broad insight into how a large international company operates. Daily life is earmarked by an international atmosphere where daily contact with people all over the world makes for a very exciting working day.
As trainee you’re not just given routine tasks, but are encouraged to take on any task – personal ability allowing – more or less on the same level as other employees. This, I think is not only challenging but a fantastic opportunity for me. - Paul Kirkwood, Technical Author
I’ve been working at Brüel & Kjær for almost 5 years now, and I find working in the Marketing Communications department both rewarding and enjoyable.
I help produce the wide range of product marketing material that Brüel & Kjær needs to keep it one at the forefront of the sound and vibration measurement market. The mixture of creative, marketing , and technically minded people in this department makes it an exciting place to work. Combine that with the department’s positive ‘can do’ attitude and it makes for a great working environment. At the same time, we try to maintain a relaxed atmosphere during our daily routines and have regular social ‘get-togethers’ to strengthen our cooperation as a team. - Paul Zakian, Western Region Manager, USA
As a manager responsible for USD $6.5M in the Western USA and Western Canada for over ten years, each day is filled with a wide variety of technical, managerial, and sales related activities.
Interestingly, the Western Region has a geographic area larger than the entire EU and the GDP of the state of California is larger than the country of Canada. Managing sales people to increase sales, meeting with key accounts to create and develop opportunities, organising the Western Region Seminar program, and providing local sales support for Northern California are all common tasks. There is never a dull moment in the Western Region!
