Students and Trainees
Brüel & Kjær is dedicated to developing young talent. We strive to create openings for students in various fields to pursue their studies with us, and many of our students and trainees get the opportunity to continue working with us after graduating.
We have students and trainees in a number of fields, as well as university students doing project work and research - from undergraduates to Ph.D. students. We use student assistants in a number of departments and we are always on the lookout for young talent.

I’m currently studying electroengineering at the Danish Technical University and twice a week I work at Brüel & Kjær where I’m responsible for replacing and installing computers.
Another part of my work involves helping the IT Support group, so I get a chance to meet and help many of Brüel & Kjær’s employees. This makes it an exciting and good place to work.

As Office Trainee at Brüel & Kjær you acquire a broad insight into the workings of an international organization.
During your two-year period in the company you gain experience from all of four different departments. You will become a part of the organization and contribute to solving the daily tasks on equal terms with the other employees … And if you seek new challenges there are plenty for you to take on!
As trainee at Brüel & Kjær you also become a part of an extensive team of trainees. Every year all the trainees go on a week-long trip abroad, where we among other things visit a Brüel & Kjær-related company.

At Brüel & Kjær trainees are allowed to tailor their time at the company according to their qualifications. This ensures that we are challenged at all times. We also get the chance to work in many different departments and as a result get a really deep insight into our subject.
I’ve been really satisfied and happy during my time at Brüel & Kjær. My colleagues are incredibly helpful and the overall atmosphere is cheerful, and if I happen to have any technical questions, there’s always an expert engineer ready for an informal chat.

Brüel & Kjær is at the forefront of sound and vibration measurement. This means that as a PhD student I’m also at the forefront of international research – this undoubtedly gives me that extra motivation factor for my own work.
I’m currently working on acoustic holography as part of an expert team within noise identification. I greatly appreciate the relaxed working atmosphere within the group and the prevailing and indisputable commitment of my colleagues is inspiring.
