Customised Solutions
Our customers often have a need for specialised, individual solutions, which are not readily available as standard products. Using our existing standard product platforms and application know-how, we are able to create and implement customer-required test and measurement solutions.
ISO 9001 Certified
In order to implement any project, project execution and control have to be performed under stringent and controlled conditions. Brüel & Kjær is ISO 9001 certified to meet these requirements. A project will typically consist of the following individual phases:
Dedicated Project Manager - As soon as we identify a need for a customised solution or if considerable on-site work is required to implement a solution, a dedicated project manager is appointed by Brüel & Kjær, Denmark. This is an experienced senior manager who is responsible for the delegation of planned activities and securing progress according to plan.
Solution Design - All proposed projects go through a detailed specification, resource allocation, and management approval process before our project proposal is presented to the customer. This way we live up to our commitment to implement customised systems on time and within budget.
Implementation Plan - For large projects the project manager will develop a project implementation plan that describes the project team, activities and responsibilities, project schedule, site preparations needed, and test and change procedures. This document is sent to the customer for acceptance prior to implementation and is used for follow up on progress until the solution is implemented.
Factory Acceptance Test - Before shipping equipment from the factory in Denmark, a complete functional test is performed in accordance with Brüel & Kjær’s overall quality assurance system, ISO 9001. All equipment is delivered with a Manufacturer’s Certificate of Conformance.
Installation - It is very important to us that our customers get up and running successfully with their new equipment. Brüel & Kjær project engineers and application specialists are available for on-site installation and site acceptance test if required. A site acceptance test is run in accordance with the mutually accepted test protocol document. Testing takes place together with Brüel & Kjær and the results are documented in a test report. If any discrepancies from the original requirement specifications are detected, they will be listed, and a plan for corrective actions will be included in the test report. When the System Acceptance Test report is signed, the system will be considered fully delivered and the warranty period will start.
Training - Brüel & Kjær application specialists can provide on-site training to ensure that you acquire all the skills needed to operate your equipment and to analyse the results of your measurements. As well as initial product training we also offer seminars and advanced courses covering a broad range of applications, theories and products.
