Acoustic Test Consultant™ works with PULSE™ to provide a dedicated environment for acoustic measurements. With emphasis on the swift production of reliable test data, it supports all aspects of the measurement process including measurement control, validation of results, data handling and measurement repetition in the event of bad measurements.

The software works on top of any PULSE configuration. Its user-interface is a generic Windows® interface with a task-bar setup that supports workflow in a straightforward, logical fashion. The task bar's constituent icons each comprise a single step in the measurement procedure and can be rearranged as required, allowing you to customise the measurement sequence.

Acoustic Test Consultant also has a series of ready-made templates to help in test setup that can be modified to suit your needs. Once you have taken your measurements, result data can be exported in various file formats or by the mapping software.

The system can be used for a variety of acoustic measurements, including intensity-based and pressure-based noise source identification and the acquisition of acoustic data for other applications. Brüel & Kjær can supply any additional accessories you need to complete your test specification.
