Description
An increase in the number of hand-arm and whole-body injuries caused by vibration is the consequence of the use of modern machinery and equipment. There have been significant changes to the way vibration is assessed, particularly relating to shocks. The release of the latest Australian Standard for Whole-Body Vibration has placed renewed emphasis on vibration exposure in the workplace. Evaluation of hand-arm and whole-body vibration involves the assessement of risk associated with exposure to vibration.
