Spectrum Analysis

A good follow-up to Principles of Vibration and/or Acoustics and the Measurement of Sound.  Engineers involved in sound and vibration are often equired to perform spectrum analysis.  This course is intended to help ensure valid measurements and improve understanding of the results. You’ll learn how and why two people analyzing the same signal can get different results — sometimes both correct, and sometimes not. 

Some mathematical background is included, but the focus is on understanding for practical application. Demonstrations and workshop sessions are used to illustrate the principles.
