 PATCH NOTES

  When attempting to license a Windows client with a UNIX license server, I-deas would fail to obtain 
  a license due to the use of incompatiable license managers for Windows and UNIX.  The issue can be 
  resolved by installing this patch.

 PATCH CONTENTS
----------------------

  This patch contains 1 file (mtsrl.dll) wich replaces an existing file in the I-deas12
  'lic' directory.

 INSTALLING PATCH
----------------------

  Note: You must have I-DEAS 12 installed before installing this patch.

 1. Navigate to the %SDRC_INSTL%\lic directory. (%SDRC_INSTL% = the root 
    I-DEAS installation directory).
 
 2. Create a back up copy of the file mtsrl.dll

 3. Unzip then copy the included version of mtsrl.dll into the %SDRC_INSTL%\lic directory.

 4. Add the environment variable MAYALMD_LICENSE_FILE to the systems environment.

        a.)  To add an environment variable, enter the system properties and select the Advanced tab,
             then select Environement variables.
        b.)  Select 'New' system variable and enter MAYALMD_LICENSE_FILE for the variable name and
             port@hostname for the variables value (where port@hostname equals the license server 
             defined port and its machine name, i.e. 3535@Sun_licserver1)
