Rights in Dictionary Content and the Dictionary
All content provided by Brüel & Kjær Sound & Vibration Measurement A/S in the Dictionary on the Site is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property and proprietary rights laws and is owned, controlled, and/or licensed by Brüel & Kjær. The Dictionary is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable intellectual property and proprietary rights laws and is owned, controlled, and/or licensed by Brüel & Kjær. All trademarks appearing on the Dictionary are the property of their respective owners. Neither the presence nor the absence of an indication or designation of trademarks affects the legal status of any trademark on the Dictionary.
The User may not modify, publish, transmit, participate in the transfer or sale, create derivative works, or in any way exploit, any of the content, in whole or in part, found on the Dictionary. The User may download copyrighted content solely for the User's personal use, and may make no other use of the content without the express written permission of Brüel & Kjær and the copyright owner. The User may not make any changes to any content that the User is permitted to download under this Agreement, and in particular the User may not delete or alter any proprietary rights or attribution notices in any content. The User agrees that it does not acquire any ownership rights in any downloaded content.
Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability
The User expressly agrees that use of the Dictionary is at the User's sole risk. Neither Brüel & Kjær nor any of its affiliates, employees, agents, third party content providers, or licensors warrant that the Dictionary on the Site will be uninterrupted or error free. Nor do they make any warranty as to the results that may be obtained from the use of the Dictionary, or as to the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or contents of any content, information, material, or definitions found on the Dictionary made available on the Site.
The Dictionary and all content, material, information, or definitions found on the Dictionary are provided on an "as is" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
Under no circumstances shall Brüel & Kjær be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, any content, information, material, or definitions on the Dictionary. The User specifically acknowledges and agrees that Brüel & is not liable for any defamatory, offensive or illegal conduct of any user.
