Reflex GUI Addressing the Sticky GUI Issue...

Brüel & Kjær is always seeking ways to improve its products and service to our customers. One of the methods we use is to send out questionnaires to help us understand the bottlenecks in work processes. In one questionnaire we focused on the customers’ view of the factors affecting software quality. We were somewhat surprised that the issue prioritised by customers over 'stability' or 'features’ was ‘ease-of-use'.

LDS LDS Shakes the World's Largest Space Telescope

The space industry probably has the most demanding requirements of vibration testing given the huge stresses involved in the launch of the payload, and the fact that you cannot easily repair a deployed satellite. So it’s best that the system has been thoroughly tested before launch. For this purpose the European Space Research and Technology Centre has invested in a quad shaker system using LDS’ V984LS shakers, delivering up to a staggering 640kN of sine force.

Customer Service Improving Customer Satisfaction

The Customer Satisfaction Survey carried out in early 2008 clearly indicated that our Complaint Handling Process was in need of improvement. As a result, an in-depth analysis has been made based upon a later Complaint Handling Survey. This was sent to 800 willing customers worldwide and gave an overwhelming 70% response rate.
