The latest PULSE release, just like every other PULSE release, was built upon the successes of the previous version, but this time with one exception – measurement experts. During the specification phase, over 250 sound and vibration engineers were canvassed for their views at themed workshops around the world. The result? Significant workflow support directly based on users’ everyday wishes and experiences – real solutions to real-world problems. This is a perfect example that supports our belief that one of the best ways of giving our customers value is by listening to and working closely with them.
Highly successful names such as Honda, SMVIC, DCNS and ARTC, all mentioned in this issue of the Magazine, are just a few examples of how cooperation not only leads to better understanding of our customers’ industries and needs but also inspires and drives innovation – see “Optimising Interior Vehicle Noise” our special feature on spherical beamforming and conformal mapping. With facilities for acoustic testing such as the Application Research Center just outside Detroit, we work to help companies worldwide further their goals of reducing product noise. Our vast installed base of solutions comprises environmental noise management systems, sound level meters and more than 8000 PULSE systems. Both of these support our commitment to researching and developing innovative techniques and methodologies for the benefit of all who are working to reduce unwanted noise and vibration.
