Noise Management Hardware

Brüel & Kjær’s Environmental Noise Management System is based on a modern system philosophy which is unique among the complex systems used. Unlike other elaborate systems typically used, for example, in airports, the Brüel & Kjær management system is modular in design and uses distributed data processing. Standard components are used wherever possible. The system interfaces to a range of Noise Monitoring Terminals that are designed for external use, in all climatic conditions, ensuring unattended noise monitoring system with minimal loss of data.

The basic function of the system is to measure the environmental noise at fixed points and, in addition, non-fixed/mobile points. Brüel & Kjær’s range of noise monitoring terminals ensure state of the art monitoring equipment. They are mainly designed to monitor environmental noise from airports and similar areas with a high degree of noise exposure. The terminals can perform its tasks in very varied conditions and the design allows for unattended outdoor use in all-climatic environments.
