Complaints Module Type 7833

The Complaints Module is used to enter airport noise complaints into the computer system database, and to report on the complaints in various formats.

The database fields are pre-formatted for noise complaints and for the information which airports generally need for reporting purposes.

When entering a new complaint the operator has a choice of prior complainants. If a prior complainant is selected, all appropriate information on this complainant is entered automatically, and the number of prior complaints by the complainant is counted and displayed.

The reports consist of a number of standard report forms, created in Crystal Reports™. Reports are generated automatically by selecting the report to be printed, and the dates on which to report. Printing may be to screen or to the printer. Reports can be printed in black-and-white or colour, depending on whether a colour printer is available.

Correlate the recorded complaints with the flight movement stored in Flight Tracking software Type 7804. Manual and automatic correlation functions calculate a list of the flights with the shortest distance to the complainant's location. Flight tracks and the complainant's location can be shown on a GIS-based map for further investigation. Also, for example, add information regarding the recorded Noise Events which are stored in Noise Monitoring software Type 7802.
