New Version: PULSE 13

Having listened to and gathered input from more than 250 customers who daily deal with higher productivity demands, it became crystal clear that acquisition systems that are easy to use are highly desirable. These needs are directly addressed and solved in PULSE 13.

Easy Set Up and Operation

LAN-XI Data Acquisition Hardware, designed with ease of use as a primary parameter, gives you

  • Faster setup
  • Better measurement quality
  • Fewer cables
  • Less hardware
  • Flexibility.

The modular hardware can be used as a stand-alone, single-module front-end, as part of a distributed module setup, or collected in 11-module frames. You can use the same equipment to make multichannel measurements using several large rack systems one day, and a simpler two-channel measurement system using a single module the next. Just configure and reconfigure according to the nature of the test job whether it be in the lab or in the field. However, an easy-to-use front-end is not enough – the whole measurement chain has to be optimised.

Easiest-to-use Analyzer in the World

In PULSE 13, we put special focus on handling analysis functions and results and displaying data. As a result, PULSE is easier than ever to start and operate.

  • PULSE 13 incorporates Smart Start, where PULSE configuration and project setup can be performed in one view and requires the mere click of a button to make a measurement.
  • The optimised workflow in PULSE 13 significantly benefits new and experienced users involved in the post-analysis of measured data.

REq-X (Response Equalization Extreme)
Response Equalisation is a unique technique that allows you to flatten the frequency response of a transducer in real-time for both amplitude and phase, and therefore, for a given transducer, provides more accurate measurements over a greater frequency range.

Time Data Recorder

Time Data Recording
While real-time analysis provides the ultimate data acquisition solution for many measurement situations, there is still a need for time data acquisition and post-processing. Even with the continuing increases in computing power, it is not always possible to perform analyses in realtime due to the simultaneous increase in the number of required measurement channels.

Electroacoustics

Time Selective Response (TSR) Analyzer
PULSE Time Selective Response (TSR) Analyzer enhances electroacoustic applications with the ability to conduct simulated free field measurements without the need for an anechoic room.

With the implementation of the TSR Analysis, PULSE is now ready to take over the position of Type 2012 as reference audio analyzer for electroacoustic measurements.

Operational Modal Analysis

Operational Modal Analysis
A patented Curve-fit Frequency Domain Decomposition (CFDD) technique has been implemented for accurate operational modal analysis in presence of harmonic components. For pre-analysis, a Spectrogram (time-frequency contour plot) helps separating potential modes from harmonic components. Frequency Domain ODS analysis has been added and animation capabilities improved.

Classical Modal Analysis

Modal Test Consultant
A major redesign of the Multiple-Input Multiple Output (MIMO) analysis functionality has drastically increased the calculation speed of the MIMO H1, Hv and Multiple Coherence functions. A significant improvement for large scale shaker testing. Modal Test Consultant can be used for both Classical Modal Analysis and Operational Modal Analysis.
