LAN-XI Stand Alone Recorder - LAN-XI Notar™

LAN-XI Notar™ is firmware that allows a LAN-XI module to be used as a stand-alone recorder.

For those who already own a LAN-XI module, adding LAN-XI Notar adds stand-alone recording capabilities to your existing LAN-XI PULSE™ system.

Rugged solid state recorder

Small and rugged solid state memory card has no shock sensitive moving parts, like tape recorders or PC hard drives. This means that LAN-XI Notar can be used where no PC-based recorder could survive.

No overloads or underranges with one input range

Go beyond the performance of traditional 24-bit ADC systems with Brüel & Kjær's Dyn-X Technology. Dyn-X dynamically switches between two 24-bit ADC, so that the recording is always on the optimum measurement range with no need for trial runs. One dynamically switched input range also simplifies the recorder setup and gives a far greater certainty of getting measurements right the first time.

Long recording sessions

The included 16 GB card allows nearly 4 hours of recording with 6 channels at 25.6 kHz bandwidth (65.6 ksamples/s). Record to multiple memory cards for even longer recording sessions.

With the optional battery for LAN-XI Type 2831-A, the system has an extremely long measurement time of over seven hours. For longer recording sessions, the battery can be replaced in the field.

Full measurement chain

Transducer conditioning is automatically configured when using transducers with TEDS (Transducer Electronic Datasheet), saving time when in the field.

The recording is not the end goal of the measurement. Seamlessly analyse and report recordings in PULSE Reflex™ or Labshop.

A LAN-XI module with LAN-XI Notar recorder software BZ-7848-A is a solution that fits almost any requirement.
