2260 Investigator
This hand-held 2-channel analyzer's ever-growing suite of dedicated software and the acoustically "streamlined" design provides solutions to a wide range of measurement and analysis problems, thus making it the perfect tool for even the most discriminating acoustic specialist.
Generous hardware and software specifications make the 2260 an extremely flexible instrument that can cover all your sound analysis needs both now and in the future. By simply loading different software applications, you can easily change its functionality. The large internal disk has space for several applications and a wealth of measurement data at the same time. Icon-labelled pushkeys, menu-driven operation and multilingual context-sensitive help make it easy to use.
Basic Sound Analysis - BZ7210
2260 Investigator™ is always shipped with Basic Sound Analysis Software BZ7210, with which the analyzer becomes a Type 1 sound level meter with real-time 1/1- and 1/3-octave frequency analysis and broadband statistical distributions. For storage, overview and post-processing, the data can be transferred to a PC using the Noise Explorer™ or Evaluator™ software where data can be displayed graphically or as tables.

Noise Profile - BZ7203
Running on 2260 Investigator, this provides you with all you need to make valid noise measurements in the field. The BZ7203/2260 combination is an advanced, multichannel electronic level recorder that does not need chart paper as everything is logged electronically, even your annotation marks. For a comprehensive data management and reporting system, consider Noise Profile Software BZ7203 for 2260 Investigator, and Evaluator™ Type 7820 software for your PC. This powerful combination of measurement and post-processing software should cover all your community noise measurement requirements.

Building Acoustics - BZ7204
If you have a building acoustics measurement problem to solve, choose 2260 Investigator with Building Acoustics Software BZ 7204. When your measurements are complete, you can, for example, immediately see the reverberation decay curve on the analyzer's screen. For a more in-depth analysis, choose Qualifier™ Type 7830 software that is dedicated to working directly with data supplied by BZ7204. Qualifier Type 7830 calculates sound insulation curves and indexes, and can edit measurement results, including manual input of data, to help you with "what if" situations. As well as further analysis of building acoustics measurements, Qualifier Type 7830 allows you to create convincing documentation of your work using its powerful reporting and exporting tools.

Room Acoustics - BZ7207
2260 Investigator running BZ7207 is the perfect tool if you only need to make reverberation time measurements. The task of reviewing, editing and reporting is easily done using Qualifier Light Type 7831.

Sound Intensity - BZ7205
BZ7205 software is dedicated to measuring sound intensity and calculating sound power. Install this application, mount the probe, and you have a complete sound intensity measuring system that is truly portable. And because the intensity probe is an integral part of the instrument, there are no wires to get tangled up when measuring in out of the way places. The display guides you through, for example, the required measuring grid, and if there is any uncertainty about the validity of a measurement, BZ7205 software will prompt you to redo it without jeopardising the rest of the total measurement.

FFT Analysis - BZ7208
Use BZ7208 software for sound or vibration FFT analysis when investigating machinery, troubleshooting, pure tone investigation, product development, quality control, and building vibration analysis. This hand-held FFT analysis system gives you single channel, real-time operation (no data loss) with internal and external triggers. You can measure transient and continuous signals with a maximum frequency span of 20kHz (minimum 156Hz). There are 429 lines (better than 50Hz resolution at 20kHz span), and you can zoom down to < 0.5Hz resolution. You can see FFT autospectra Lin or A-weighted, and compare a measured spectrum to stored reference spectra. PC software is also available for analysis, reporting and archiving.
