PSTN Telephone Test System - Type 6711

Conformance Test System for PSTN Telephones Type 6711 is the most advanced Brüel & Kjær system for voice conformance testing and pre-qualification of PSTN telephones according to a wide range of national PSTN standards. The system allows multinational approval of telephones and secures manufacturers a first time acceptance of their telephone.

The test system is easily operated and fully controlled using the Windows™ software platform. Automated test execution reduces the interaction from the test operator, and thus the time needed for testing the telephone. The research and development facilities in the test system allow user definition of all test parameters and requirements, including the lines and impedances of telephone networks simulated by the telephone interface.

Multinational Telephone Interface Type 4604
This interface contains the circuits necessary to simulate a telephone exchange: feeding bridge, generator- and termination impedances, signal conditioning, and interface for generator input and analyzer output. Furthermore, artificial lines are supplied on separate PCBs to be fitted as required by the standards being tested to.
