Voice Testing Software for VoIP Terminals

For testing the audio performance of VoIP terminals BZ-5137 is a useful tool for audio professionals working with the development of VoIP terminals.

The software takes it outset in the dedicated test specifications outlined in the ETSI standards (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) for testing of VoIP terminals.

Type BZ-5137 is built on the PULSE™ platform, which also provides a wide range of analysis capabilities for the verification of the acoustic design during development. Furthermore, it is a versatile platform for objective as well as subjective evaluation of specific components such as noise suppressors, echo chancellors, etc. With the PULSE™ platform there follows a natural upgrade path for testing mobile phones according to a variety of international standards for measuring audio performance.

The test system is easily operated and fully controlled using the Windows™ software platform. Automated test execution reduces the interaction from the test operator, and thus the time needed for testing the telephone. The research and development facilities in the test system allow user definition of test parameters and requirements.
