Human Vibration Analyzer Type 4447

Type 4447 is a very easy-to-use, rugged, portable human vibration analyzer, designed primarily for use in Health and Safety at Work applications. The compact housing lies perfectly in your hands and operation cannot be simpler. With four pushbuttons and a 124x124 pixels graphical display you control everything with almost no learning time.

When carrying out measurements you can stand close to the worker and control the instrument. Type 4447 measures all relevant parameters simultaneously. RMS, MTVV, Peak and VDV values - and you can follow them on display while measuring.

Quite often, a better way to carry out measurements is to use Type 4447’s logging capability. In this mode, Type 4447 records RMS, MTVV, Peak and VDV values at 1 second intervals. Simply mount the instrument, for example, to the worker’s belt and start measuring. The worker wears the instrument with him/her while doing his/her job. While Type 4447 is recording a profile of the vibration the worker is exposed to, you can observe the working process and take notes, for example, on body posture, duration of work and other important issues.

Back at your PC, you simply extract vibration data for each particular operation from the recorded profile(s). For that, a powerful post-processing tool is highly valuable. Type 4447 comes with PC Software 4447 Vibration Explorer. With it you collect, edit and manage your measured data, but also model and analyze different working scenarios to identify health risks and find solutions for reducing vibration exposure. And with a single click you transform this information into a concise report.
