Head and torso simulators

Head And Torso Simulator (HATS) Type 4128 is a manikin with calibrated ear simulators optimized for measuring hearing aids, hearing protectors and headphones as well as telephones and headsets (two-way communication systems) thanks to the built-in mouth simulator providing realistic sound reproduction of the human mouth. The highly acclaimed Brüel & Kjær Mouth Simulator has an unmatched precision due to the special mouth-directional loudspeaker sound source.

HATS Type 4100 is designed for being used for sound quality measurements and binaurals. The native geometric and symmetrical design of Types 4100 and 4128 combined with the mirrored pinnas (the external ears) ensures uniform and reliable left/right recordings.

DZ-9773 and DZ-9774 - Pinnae with tapered ear canal for Head and Torso Simulator

Easy mounting of earbuds when used with HATS pinnas. With a slightly modified ear canal entrance, the shape of the pinnas is conical merged with a cylinder, making it easy to seal earbuds to the pinna during tests.   Read more
