Process - from ordering calibration to return of instrument

With Brüel & Kjær you have access to calibration laboratory and repair centre from the same vendor.

Before shipping instrument

• Please fill in the service request form
• You will receive an e-mail with confirmation
• Your local Brüel & Kjær representative will also receive an e-mail and will contact you to make further arrangements
• We will provide a link for on-line tracking of the progress

Instrument in laboratory

• When we receive your instrument, the first step is to acclimatise the instrument to laboratory temperature
• Calibration process starts
• Provided the instrument is within tolerance limits, process is finalised and certificate issued
• Should the instrument not fulfil the tolerance limits, we will provide a quotation for repair or replacement. If you have specified a maximum price for repair, we will proceed directly to repair
• Should this not cover the repair price, we will contact you
• Software updates can be installed prior to calibration according to mutual agreement, such as software upgrade agreements or upgrade provided for free
