Subaru has had nine consecutive years of increased sales in the US and is aiming for a 10th. To achieve that goal, Subaru wants to better understand what customers expect to hear, how noise vibration and harshness (NVH) performance and character can be improved and how to best evaluate their current vehicles. Using the NVH Simulator (a Brüel & Kjær solution that creates a virtual, interactive vehicle NVH experience) enabled Subaru to accomplish those tasks and involve customers in NVH simulations, creating sound quality targets and identifying target-users’ preferences.
