The 8th International Operational Modal Analysis Conference (IOMAC) and exhibition will be held at Admiral Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark May 13–15, 2019. Submission deadline for abstracts is October 31, 2018.

On behalf of the local organizing committee, we are happy to announce that the 8th IOMAC will be held at the Admiral Hotel in Copenhagen, Denmark from May 13–15, 2019.

Submission deadline for abstracts is October 31, 2018. Find more information here.

The IOMAC conference and parallel exhibition focuses on Operational Modal Analysis (OMA) and related topics such as Structural Health Monitoring (SHM). From its first two sessions in Copenhagen in 2005 and 2007, IOMAC has been held every second year in a different city around Europe. Based on measuring only the output of a structure and using the ambient and operating forces as unmeasured input, OMA is used instead of classical hammer and shaker modal analysis for accurate modal model identification under actual operating conditions and in situations where it is difficult or impossible to artificially excite the structure.

OMA is a well-proven and widely used application for modal analysis in several market segments, such as automotive, aerospace & defence, space, rotating machinery, wind energy, consumer products and civil engineering.
