TYPE 4394

Miniature CCLD Accelerometer, including Cable

A miniature piezoelectric CCLD accelerometer with isulated base, designed for measurements on lightweight structures where relatively high-level, high-frequency vibrations are encountered.

Angebot anfordern

Type 4394 is a piezoelectric DeltaShear, Unigain accelerometer with side connectors. It features an M3 connection and can be mounted on the test object with an M3 threaded stud, and has a ceramic isolated base.

CHARACTERISTICS

This miniature accelerometer may be treated as a voltage source. The sensitivity is expressed in terms of voltage per unit acceleration (mV/ms-2)

The sensitivity given in the calibration chart is measured at 159.2 Hz. For a 95% confidence level, the accuracy of the factory calibrated unit is +/- 0.7%.

USE SCENARIOS

  • Shock and vibration measurement and analysis
  • Vibration monitoring
  • Modal and structural analysis
  • Vibration test control
  • Production and quality control

The DeltaShear design involves three piezoelectric elements and three masses in a triangular configuration around a central triangular post.

A clamping ring pre-stresses these elements to give a higher degree of linearity. The signal is collected between the housing and the clamping ring and amplified in the built-in CCLD preamplifier.
