ACCELEROMETER TECHNOLOGY
Back in 1943, the company founder, Per V. Brüel, developed the world's first commercial piezoelectric accelerometer from Rochelle salt crystals.
 
Today, we are still at the forefront of transducer technology. The DeltaShear, OrthoShear and ThetaShear piezoelectric designs, on which most of the world's accelerometers are based on, are all invented by Brüel & Kjær.
