LDS V875

Medium-force shaker

An air-cooled electrodynamic shaker used in R&D for vibration and shock testing of medium-to-large payloads up to 600 kg (1323 lb), such as satellite components, automobile parts, electronic assemblies, and military hardware. Maximum forces of 35.6 kN (8000 lbf).

견적 요청하기

This versatile range of medium-force shakers is widely used within the automotive, aerospace, transport and packaging, and defence sectors. Coupling industry-standard performance and flexibility, they offer cost-effective and comprehensive solutions for a range of vibration testing scenarios that include product qualification and reliability tests, general stress screening, and product and package testing.

USE SCENARIOS

  • Qualification testing of automotive parts and systems, including ISO/TS 16949, SAE and other standards
  • Electronic assembly and computer equipment testing
  • Avionics and military hardware standard testing, such as ISO 9000, MIL-STD, AS9000 and RTCA DO-160 Section 8
  • Telecommunication and satellite component testing
  • General stress screening, such as ISO 5344, HALT, ALT and HASS
  • Product and package testing, like ISTA and ASTM 4169

CHARACTERISTICS

Available in three versions, LDS® V875 shakers combine top force and velocity ratings with low installation and running costs. They feature a usable vibration control frequency range from DC up to 3 kHz and are suitable for high-acceleration shock tests as well as for testing with sinusoidal, random and transient excitations.

Interchangeable and lightweight armatures – with diameters of 240, 440 and 640 mm – economically increase adaptability, since the same shaker can be fitted with different armatures to adjust the mounting surface according to the size of the device under test. The larger-diameter model, V875-640, provides excellent overturning restraint when testing large or multiple payloads. The smaller V875-440 and V875-240 are appropriate for high g-force vibration control applications, such as drop tests and crash simulations.

The shaker’s active suspension system eliminates the need for additional mountings and improves reliability at low frequencies. A unique infrared mechanism allows accurate control of the armature position in both vertical and horizontal operation, which is crucial for high-quality shock tests where the armature must be offset.

All shakers in the LDS® V800 series are compatible with AGREE chambers and can be integrated with other equipment for use in environmental tests. Thermal barriers can be added to protect the shaker when operating at high temperatures.

ADDITIONAL CAPABILITIES

The V875 models can be outfitted with a number of choices to meet your specific needs: mounted on an air-isolation trunnion with body rotation gear box (as standard), combined with one of our oil-film slip tables to enable horizontal testing, or base-mounted for under-chamber operation. Head expanders are also available to increase the mounting surface and comfortably accommodate larger devices for testing.
