Outdoor Microphone Kit UA-1404 includes all of the protective features of the Type 4198, but without the microphone and preamplifier. It enables you to weatherproof your microphones and preamplifiers. All recommended combinations fulfill both
IEC 61672 Class 1 and ANSI S1.4 Type 2 specifications.

Both the unit and the kit enable you to make measurements that are protected against the effects of wind, rain, and perching birds.
