Predictor™ Environmental Noise Prediction and Control Software Version 6.02
Type 7810 is the most efficient multi-purpose Windows® software package available for calculating environmental noise. It allows you to calculate and analyse noise from various noise sources such as industry or traffic. With its state-of-the-art calculation power, it can be used for all applications ranging from small-scale impact assessments to mapping of large agglomerations. Compared to Predictor Version 6, Version 6.02 has the following new features that continue to keep Predictor as the most efficient multi-purpose Windows software package available for calculating environmental noise:
- All calculations run dedicated on 1 CPU. This improves performance and stability.
- All references to “Node” and “Corner” are changed to “Point”.
- Barriers: Barriers have an extra attribute “Barrier type”.
- Receivers: In all calculation methods linking a receiver to a building will ignore the last reflection in this building, except for CRTN. In CRTN linking a receiver to a building, indicates calculating the facade effect for this building.
- In Predictor V6.00 the user was not able to make any changes to models when in demo-mode. The demo mode is now as it used to be in the previous Predictor versions. For this version V6.01 was released.
