½-inch Prepolarized Pressure-field  Microphone Cartridge Type 4971 is optimized for coupler measurements. It can also be used for random incidence measurements and free-field measurements with 90° incidence.

Being prepolarized, it can be used with CCLD input as well as classical input. It has wide frequency and dynamic range and is highly immune to changing environmental conditions.
